Has anyone seen any mind bender progeny in person? What are people's thoughts on the bull and his offspring? Anyone used him or have recommendations for what to use him on?  What are his birth weights? Thank you in advance

Here are a few pics of Mind Bender calves. They are shaggy, great necked, outcross genetics, THF/PHAF and calving ease. On first time heifers the weights have ranged from 55 to 75. On mature cows range have been from 65 to 80

Just call up Joshua Kastel. He's got an immensely good reputation for being helpful and kind.

Ohio beef expo I'll have a booth to make it easier to grab some Mind Bender. Stop in and chat cows and other services such as Embryo transfer,AI, cow mating selection and my mineral formulated by me "Sure HEAT".

He was $30 at Ohio Beef Expo. It was also said on here earlier that Josh had the reputation for being helpful and kind. That is correct. He is super nice guy and was really helpful. After talking to him I had a better understanding of what to use him on. I will do business with him in the future.

KAXX, after your conversation, what kind of cow do you think he would work best on?

After talking to josh I think that this bull would work on a variety of cows. I think for me the attraction was most due to his dam. I think the best mating would be on cows that have a little sim in them. I don't think he will add or subtract frame. I think he may add some milk but not take any away. I think he will add middle and clean up fronts and add some muscle. I think he will put some decent steers on the ground and his heifers will be able to be used as breeding stock. And I think his bw's look really good. So my answer is I think he would work on about anything. I would tend to use him on cows that are about where you want them. I personally am going to use him on two Hairy daughters from two separate cow families, a whiskey daughter, a Nichols legacy g151 daughter, and a commercial angus out of OCC Legend. I use I think a lot because it is my opinion, but those calf pics especially the one out of that bodacious cow helped. I recommend calling josh. Like I said he is super nice and helpful. Hope this helps.
