I bought a arctic circle a couple weeks ago and finally got to hook it up today. Ive never used a mister before but is it suppose to make the calf wet?  Im not using a turbo fan, just a older barn fan. Is it suppose to make them damp? or is my fan now powerful enough to evaporate enough of the water? Thank for any help.

It's supposed to make them a little wet, but it would be best to run it for like 15 minutes every hour, so that the fan has a chance to evaporate some of the water.  It's basically artificially sweating for the calf, the water that gets on the calf absorbs some heat and then the fan dries it away.  If you have a turbo fan available, I'd put the mister on it.

Also, I would make sure to get a filter so your mister ends don't get stopped up. I think Sullivans has one.
