The Richardson girl has a whole pen of good steers.  She maybe the one to beat.  I really liked her Chi steer when I saw it.
Not sure who's judging haven't even seen who's judging the maines yet.  Not that it matters lol I cann't remember one judges name from another lol Guess I'm getting old.

Look us up!  We'll be in the sheep barn Wed. thru Fri. Then back with Maines on Saturday thru Wed.  Funk Show Cattle

I will be there as well with a chi heifer and a shorthorn heifer. I'd like to put a face with the name of other planeters. I'll have a James Gang Cattle Co. sign.

The names of the judges are listed in pdf format on the State Fair website.  It is under Competitions, then Livestock.  Sholujld be in a box by itself toward the top of the page.  Harlan Yocham, OK is the open Chi judge.  Todd Herman, OK open shorthorn judge.  Ryan Rathman, TX steers.

We will be in the Simm barn also (we hope), but we will stick out because they should house our Charolais with the simms  :)
We are getting there Tuesday evening and won't be leaving until the char. is done competing on Sunday. We would like to meet up with some sp friends also!

Ive seen Ryan Rathman judge, he usually does it right. Actually i would say that i agree with 90% of his placings. He is a stickler for structure on the heifers, ive never seen him judge steers though.
Those barns are crazy hot, but the people are real nice. Went to the open show last year with a buddy of mine. Next thing we know everyone in the barn is helping us load up, good peoples.
