there was a pic of him in the Summit catalog for January's sale at Denver as some semen was sold by the Kaehlers along with some Creole semen. If  you can find it online somewhere you will be able to see the pic. We used Homedale Creole 135 (out of a Defender daughter) by A.I. and natural service this past year and are looking forward to his calves this spring and maybe using him by A.I. again on our heifers. Frank has said he is the best bull they've ever raised. You can see a photo of him on pasture last fall on our site:  nextgenerationfarms.com  (For sale page)
Or on the Genex site added attractions as well.
Anyway, hope this helps, if you can find a Summit catalog it has a pick of Adair (Surge as he was called) there.

Surge was his nickname as he was double registered in both the beef and milking Shorthorn herd books. He was pretty thick and deep for having Milking Shorthorn heritage. The late Bill Marsden, sold him in the American Polled Congress in Omaha where he was Champion bull in the mid 70s. He sold to R Lee Johnson ( Millbrook Shorthorns) from Ohio for $15,500. I was the runner up bidder as I was trying to find a good bull to use on my Ready Go and Irish Mist daughters. Bill Marsden later told me that he was in fact a full brother to Ready Go, and he also showed me documentation to prove it. Bill had also owned Ready Go, and  that his pedigree was changed prior to his buying him.  Both bulls were homozygous polled, dark cherry red, adn both sired some good females with excelleny udders. They were very productive females, always bringing in a very good calf. I will have to do some digging but I probably can find a picture of Surge. It may take me a few days to find it, but I will try.
