A friend has some semen of this bull that he wants me to use. What are your experiences with him? What type of females does he work best on?

Well, if you want to try him, use him on Angus or something that doesn't have club calf genetics in it. I've seen some nice calves, but my experience was a terrible one. I had one 2 weeks early and the most crippled up thing I have ever seen. We ended up putting her down it was so bad, had one of my favorite cows tear her uterus (lost her and both of her calves), then the last one to calve had a pretty nice heifer but she's just too straight. So, Money Shot had 3 strikes with me. I bought 1 cane of it. After, that calving season, the only place I put the last 6 straws I had was on the ground.

I had bought a semen tank that went bad and it had a couple straws of money shot that i was looking forward to using. Now I don't feel as bad, (about losing those straws anyway, had some others that still hurt to lose WMW & Heat wave)

We have had good luck with him. We use him on second calf heifers and have not had any problems yet. He throws some nice calves. Have two really good heifers out of him currently that we will keep. All we have is clubbie type cattle.

Go to the Virginia club calf producers site, then eastern elite sale catalog, lot 13 was a pregnancy by money shot with the full sib steer pictured that won the vccp show in 2009 as well as many others, also lot 69 was a full sib as well. out of a habenaro cow
