Reports have been coming in almost daily on Montego Bay offspring being born this fall. So far, there have been no reports of calving difficulties, including several being born out of first and second calf heifers. Birth weights have consistently been in the 60's out of heifers, and 70's out of cows. Had one case where a calf was 91# out of a HooDoo bred cow, but her previous 2 calves were 110 and 128#.

Calves have been hairy, well muscled for their size, cool fronted, and solid color patterned. In the next few weeks, I plan on getting out and getting pictures.   As always, anyone can call or email me with questions, or just check our website at www.zntcattle.com

Calf pictures and a mature pic of him if you have one!

If you go to our website, you will see the first MB calf born on our place, and on the Montego Bay page of our website, you will find videos and pics of MB. I will work on getting a mature pic of him. He's been breeding cows for the past 9 months.

I've got several and am very happy with them.  No time for photos yet.

Here are a couple pictures of a 2 day old Montego Bay bull calf.  He had a 64# BW, and was born unassisted out of a first calf heifer.  He sells as a pair in Buck Fall Premier Sale on October 15th.  They sell as Lot 107.

Attached are a few pics of some Montego Bay calves I have on the ground. All are heifer calves and doing really well. The Hope calf is out of a 1/2 blood Maine first calf heifer, the other calves are out of purebred Angus second calvers.
All were born unassisted and vigorous.

Here you go.  Just took a pic of Montego Bay yesterday.  The pic is of him at 27 months, and after breeding for 9 months in the worst drought in Texas history.

Montego looks good Zane. You can easily see where the calves are getting some of that beautiful front extension.

Considering what he has been through he looks very well. I comend you for posting a picture of the bull in his working clothes nothing to hide. Structurally very sound with a good set of manhood. A good looking bull  (thumbsup)

It's refreshing to see a cattle producer putting up honest-untouched pics. Really like this bull. Appears to be doing what he is suppose to do. First set of calves look right on target.
