if you think about it, they are not idiots, we are for letting them do it.

once they figured out they can vote them our money, we were too stupid to see it coming.

we allowed the schools to teach us that it was ok, and if we didn't think so, we should feel guilty

we are the stupid ones.

I was driving home late weekday night from the computer lab with my girlfriend in my farm truck.  The truck was an older f150 that had seen it fair amount of abuse and of course the tag lights had rattled loose and were no longer there.  Just my luck, I get pulled over for the tag light problem.  I thinking, no big deal, they are probably just send me on my way.  After handing over my license, reg, and insurance, the officer comes back and asks me to step out of the truck.  I am like what for, he says that I am under arrest for driving on expired license.  My birthday was on the 25th and it was now the 27th, I get handcuffed, put in the car and taken to jail.  I had recently moved into my own place and didn't get the notice in the mail to renew my license.  I had no clue it expired that year.

To make matters worse, my girlfriend could barely driving the truck as it was a manual. 

Got processed, photographed, fingerprinted and released after about a couple hours.  I went got my license the next morning, should up to court a few weeks later and the judge was flabbergasted that they had arrested me for a 2 day old expired license.  Oh well, I am sure there are a few jerks on every squad.

You should have asked the judge to expunge your record.
