As you of course know, none of them are by any means easy.

We have showed steers at KC and Denver, never been to Louisville.

Kansas City is just unbelievable.  There are no fitting rules which makes the presentation of the steers amazing.  Top that with exhibitor eligibility up to 20 years old, and a really really good steer can stand bottom 3 in a hurry.

Denver is lower numbers, younger exhibitor age limit, and has fitting restrictions.  Of the numbers that are there, a great deal are from Colorado.  There are certainly some great steers in Colorado, but some families are close by and simply want to participate.  Last year Denver was non-typically competitive due to the strong showing from Texas...due to the Ft Worth judge situation.

Louisville is strong, but doesn't have the numbers of the other two.  I believe part of the reasoning is because they only sell the Champion and Reserve.  Having never been that, I have to rely on what friends that have been there tell me.

I know there isn't a correct answer to your question.  This is just the way I see it.
