This is my son's pick of our spring born heifers.  She is a May out of an old Bedwell bred cow and a bull we call Lane's Bullet.  He can show her in the bred and owned and he is the breeder of the cow and bull.  I thought that was pretty cool.  Plus she has a great attitude.  I was able to slip the halter on her in the trailer the first time we brought her home.

Looks like your son is pretty good at pickin em.  And his name is on the sire and dam's papers as well.  Pretty good start for a kid there I would say.

It was dark in the barn but I snapped a picture last night after we fed.

NICE! (thumbsup)
Tried to brighten her up a tick. I like her pattern it catches your eye immediately. She looks thick made and cowy.

I bet he has a lot of fun with her!

What is the breeding on the heifer behind her in the first picture of her in the pen.

Mark I hope she looks like that cow someday.

That heifer is a 7/8ths and is also out of Bullet and a 3/4 shorthorn 1/4 red angus cow that is a really nice cow.

She looks good. Hope to see her in L'ville next summer.
I am betting she will be their, we really like the bred and owned show at the Junior Nationals.  We entered her at Denver but I am not sure we will take her.  That long of a trip seems hard on those babies.
