The Shorthorn is a January Delco x Impact Shaker Daughter that he can show as a bred and owned.  The Angus is a November JCNew Design X Bon View New Design cow. I hope we do not get embarrassed.

Why worry about getting embarrassed, if your son does his best and you all have fun and learn something in the process, it is worth it.
They look like they will do fine and make good cows when your done.
I would try and get a little more volume on the Shorthorn and sweat the neck on the other, after that let the chips fall where they may.

The shorty is pretty green and tubular in her design, get some guts on her and she should do just fine.  The Angus looks pretty stout and adequately volumed to me, if anything like was said get a sweat on her neck as she is a little trashy fronted. But I dont think either of these are heifers you should be ashamed of.
