My Sympathy To Road Warrior - INFO

For those of you that never got that chance to know Darby, you truly missed out. Even in the short time that I had the opportunity too, I was able to find out what an amazing and outgoing person she was.

As hard as this is, I want to thank RW for giving me that opportunity. Without him, I would have never met her. We had corresponded and had Darby all set to come out to Colby Community College where I am the Livestock Judging Coach. We emailed back and forth a few times and after she came out for a visit in early October, it was easy to see the type of person she was. She was outgoing, outspoken, and sarcastic. Some of the same qualities I like to think I possess myself. So we hit it off right away and I was really looking forward to having her as part of the team here in Colby starting next fall. I had just texted back and forth with her on Friday talking about life and plans for the next year.

As hard as it is to understand sometimes, the good lord up above had a much bigger plan for this amazing young lady. I just thank him for the opportunity I had to get to know her.

My deepest sympathies go out the RW, his family, and the family of the other young man that was lost in this accident.

As we have just had our first child this past week, I can now truly understand what has been said about the unexplainable love for ones child.  I can not even pretend to understand how you feel, but I do understand that God does.  We will continue to pray for your family.
