My nephew has a steer that is having some soundness issues.  The hoof trimmer thinks he was foundered as a calf.  Any suggestions on something that might help us make him sounder.  Anyone used Natural Stride or Sound Advantage?  Is there something better?

haven't had to use natural stride before this year but we are feeding it to a steer now. i don't know how much it will help, but i will say that he has stopped knuckling his pasterns when he walks.

i would say that it is useful for smaller problems but we are dealing with a small sample size and there wasn't a whole lot wrong in the first place.
