Naughty Pine on simmi cross cows?

I have a brother in law that has two simmi cross cows that we plan on using Naughty Pine? Have any of you had bad luck with him on cross bred cows?

No reason to not use him, unless they are heifers.

I have a nice NP heifer and have seen lots of good steers this year. His semen quality is really good for clubby bred bulls.

I had a 150 pounder last year out of a sim/ang.  The rest of them were average at best. did not work at all on my cows. I gave the second rack away. 

The NP came bigger than my Heatwaves and did not sell a single NP.  HW's averaged 3000.00

Congrats to you!  I am not putting thee bull down in any way, I think it is interesting how different bulls will work in some herds and a mile down the road they flat out are a bust!

I used to use alot more HW but found out what cow he does and does not work on.

Monopoly has been consistant for me and My Turn is another one that I am using heavier.

SOS is as consistant of a crossbred bull that I have ever used, barnone.
