I'm not sure who hi-jacked KSU, but I think it was Gardner that was playing in their place :'(.  Now we root for KU, Texas, Texas A & M and Oklahoma! (thumbsup)

Actually, if KSU can't get it done, it pains us, but we then root for KU we are only about 30 minutes from Lawrence so it's not too much of a stretch.

Did any of you watch the special segment on Michael Beasley, we thought it was incredible the portrait they painted of Manhattan.  For those of you not from here, there is more in Manhattan than wide open spaces and cows.

until about 10 years ago the nicest hotel in stilwater (ok state) was next to the hog farm.  on those rare occurences that OSU had an an all-american football player, bob hope would joke that when he had once appeared on campus that he stepped out of his hotel room to get a breath of fresh air and inhaled a pig.  great for the university's reputation.  i think it kept out the rif-raf.

There are wide open spaces, cows and Aggiville. ;D Beasley is a class act and when he goes pro that team is getting a better person then basketball player. He is humble and a great teammate. I think this was especially evident with the passing of Clint Stewarts mother. I found it interesting that he was voted as KSU's student body president. I just hope he comes back to serve (and maybe play alittle basketball.)

Whose team is still in?  Everyone from the big12 is gone except for Kansas and Texas.  A&M got robbed, photo showed that A&M player was hacked when going to the basket for the last shot and no call.

UCLA has gotten lucky way too much, time for some karma to catch up with them.  I rooting for Davidson as my underdog, Curry is awesome.

It has been an interesting tourney ! I'm currently 7th among the steerplanet group and can finish as high as 2nd and as low as 8th. Who knows Davidson might win the whole thing !!!!!!!!! Wouldn't that be something ????????

I have Kansas & UCLA in the Championship game, with Kansas winning.  They sure don't look too good against Davidson.

My pre-season pick is in the Finals!! Memphis will rock Kansas. I just don't think that the Jayhawks can stay with Derek Rose & Co. for 40 minutes

i sense the foul shot will play a factor as fast as the final two teams are capable of playing.

it was really amazing to see kansas not keep going inside.  amazing how many pick and rolls were so wide open.  john wooden would have never done that.

most underestimated wooden technique (that wasn't recruiting violations), was the bank shot, as rebounds bounced over the defender, giving the offense a statistically better advantage of getting an offensive rebound.  wooden's forwards were typically not the tallest, but were good shooters, ie marques johnson.

my other favorite technique was NEVER calling a time out.  when walton was playing, walton pleaded with him to call a timeout.  wooden replied,  "son, we're UCLA, we don't call timeout"
