Neck sweat issues

I have a heifer that keeps taking the nose band part of her neck sweat off. Any tips on how to get that habit to stop?

You may have the first calf ever with front legs that function like human arms.

Haha not quite but she is too smart for her own good. She rubs it on the water trough until the Velcro comes undone. And I don't know how to stop it lol

I would suggest only using the neck sweat when tying her head up.  Tie her head high Anouilh that she can't drop it below a 70 degree angle so she can't scratch it off on the wall

I have a steer that rubs on anything he can to get the nose piece off.

We had a steer a couple years ago that could slip his halter.

Every night when we would go into the cooler, he would be laying in his spot with no halter on.

Finally I got to witness how he did it.  He would use his left rear foot.  Coolest thing I had ever seen!

Some of them are just way too smart.
