I know this belongs in classifieds but kind of in a crunch here so seeing if anyone can offer any assistance. Had an area Ag Teacher contact me today and say that he had a young student walk in today and say he decided to show a steer. Their show is early Feb and is slick, problem is their validation is Oct 15 so we only have about 3 weeks to find this guy a steer.  Their show is very small and not very competitive, even if he makes the sale he will only get about $2,000 so we would like to stay somewhere under $1500 if possible.  I realize that these low end calves have probably gone to the market by now, but if anyone has anything hanging on out there please let me know.  Just trying to see if we can find this kid a first year project!!!

Go to www.pinevalleyfarm.net . They have some really nice Simbrah calves that are bulls and would make excellent steers. He will sell for REALLY cheap. I have been to his ranch. He is near Marshall. Shouldn't be far from you.

I have a two steers that were born in march. One is sired by Moody Blues out of a Who Made Who dam, he is black and white.  The other is  a solid black steer sired by Tyson our of a 3/4 Simmential cow.  The Moody Blues calfs dam was the Res. Grand Champion Futurity  Heifer in 2009 at the Kansas Junior Livestock Show.  I am wanting $1,200 for either of them.  please pm me if you are interested.  I am really wanting to move these calves.
