need advice for major shows coming up!

My daughter shows a Brahman heifer this year (just turned 9 mos.) We have hauled her to every show possible in preparation for the majors. The first will be in about 2 weeks. Last weekend was the farthest she has traveled so far, 2 hours 1 way. She gets sorta pouty, if you've been around brahman you will know what I mean as they tend to get dramatic.  I'm trying to find the best eating schedule/supplement to encourage her to actually eat and drink. Last weekend I held her water during the night before  (thinking she would drink good the next day) when we got to show she was not interested. She ate hay for us but refused to drink until about 1 or so, then it was only a small amount AFTER I poured a bit of molasses in it. She pretty much wouldn't eat. She has been on Purina fitters edge and sure champ. I'm thinking about one of the supplements that help fill her in the loin area and might keep her from shrinking. At home she stays all filled out and looks nice. Also any tricks to getting them to drink. I'm so nervous she will get to a major show and pout the whole time.

Does she have a "buddy" at home that you could take with? I was campaigning a bull this year, but one of my heifers was so docile that she halter-broke in a day, and I brought her along to all the shows to keep him company. Didn't spend any time on her hair at home, just presented her as she was and usually got last (no hair in a shorthorn ring, go figure) but I never had trouble with them getting used to travelling because they felt comfortable together. And in all honesty once you're there, 2 head really isn't any more work than 1.

Did she learn bad habits at the jackpots like "it's okay If I don't drink I'll be home soon" that's where people run into issues jackpotting when it's not done right leaving them over night

Put dyne in their water at home and the show and make sure she's used to drinking from a bucket the dyne makes the water taste the same
