This former All-American, is a ArSuLu Kool daughter out of our Rainbow Snowflower donor. After a few solid purebred calves, we feel that her best market to sell calves would be to breed her black or clubby. She is a TH carrier, so that limits things a bit.

We are planning on flushing her to make club calves, but don't have a strong handle on which proven bulls would make a great fit. Any help would be appreciated.

We also would be willing to partner on a couple of flushes with someone, if they had an interest.

Thanks in advance,

Stuart

He's not black but I would try ALM Chiller.

Did you test for PHA too? Being a Kool?

Yep.

She is a double carrier. You have to test for both pha and TH when you are a donor.

Who Made Who or Dr Who,

I've also seen Dirty Hairy work really good on Shorthorns.

All are clean of TH & PHA and proven to work.

Funny you mention Tiger Woods, as I flushed our other top donor to him and have calves coming. How are the calves out of him, and where can I see some pictures of his calves?

I will also look up Dirty Hairy right now.

The most impressive Blues-along with calves from 4 other breeds Ive seen are from WHISKY REBELLION-TEETs farms-West VA-they are known Nationally-owned Spin Doctor-and even sold A Shorthorn Hiefer 2 years ago in thier sale (A Sonny out of Max Rosa) for approx $25000 to Sullivan-Showsteers-WVA-or TEETS FARMS .COM.give me your E-mail again-I got brief pics of a blue.from thier sale. Also-HAA WISDOM-one of the show winning sires of purebred  MAINES-seen some great Blues.-Both bulls are clean both ways-I remember the female-JMO-these bulls have the stoutness needed-LOWER BWS with Wisdom. We have had real good luck using Shake & Bake on dirty 1/2 blood shorthorns. See the black & white steer in the Family & Friends club calf sale in the classifieds.
