I've been showing for a long time so a good place to stop is Sullivans show supply. You can go online, or sometimes they have a trailer at big shows. So need to have supplies would be revive, the poofs the hair up sometimes and keeps it from drying out. Tail adheisve or prime time adhesive, i really don't see a difference when using them, that's what you use for pulling the hair on the legs and tailhead up. Then you need hocus pocus or ezall to take off that adhesive. I also recomend Final Bloom, it make them smell good and helps with the overall look in the showring, you put that on when you are done with everything. You should also get a pair of clippers, those aren't too difficult to use.
When making them get used to the spray cans you have to be careful.Normally i make a shuushing sound similar to the sound the spray makes before i put it on so they know its coming. Most of the time they don't mind that, its when you comb the leg hair, so practice when you wash, make sure the calf is used to that before hand. The blower you start with it on the lowest it can go and just let it blow on their side and butt, then crank it up a notch when it seems the calf doesn't mind.
That's all i can think of so far.
