Agreed.  He's so high in his hip it make him look super cut up in his flank and lower quarter.  Does look thick and sound otherwise though.

Seems to me this body type is just from immaturity and being later maturing. The front eventually catches up with the back, but it will take a year or two more time.  The difference from front to back says he has quite a bit of room to grow yet.

I would like to see more heart girth.  But then there is always something wrong with every bull.

I agree Bebee on the heart girth. But all in all this bull looks like he's in his working clothes and there are lots of good parts. Huge nutted clean sheathed bull with a big ol foot on him. He seems to have a long clean front with plenty of hind quarter in him. I like the bull. Hip doesn't bother me to much as I see him still having some slope from the hooks to the pins. I appreciate evaluating an Angus bull with out being caught up on numbers.
