Has anyone seen him at Nichols? What's your thoughts of him? He's a Whiplash son! Is he the full sib to Point Takens dam?

Don't know about the relationship to Point Taken, but I did see the bull top Ohlrich's sale, and I saw him again later at Nichols. At the sale, I just flat loved him. Later at Nichols, I liked the Trademark bull a little better. Trademark sold to Ben Kelly in the same sale. Ben didn't buy him, he stole him. Both bulls are good sound and very functional animals. Possibly from a growth and commercial standpoint, rather than a club calf standpoint. I like both, but I like Trademark the best. JMHO. I wouldn't be ashamed to use either one.

What's the frame like on the Trademark bull?  Looks like a ground sow!

Just looking at the pics, I like Trademark MUCH better.  I really like the back 2/3's of this bull but he seems really jammed up in his neck structure, Trademark appears to by much prettier made up front with just as much power and rib.

Don't know anything about the TRADEMARK bull, but if BEN KELLY bought him,he must be pretty good. Don't be too critical of the other bull though,he resides at a pretty damn good cowman's place too, that being KEENE FARMS of Potosi, Wisc. What works for one, doesn't always trip the others trigger. The Keene's have some tremendous cows, and I believe he made the best choice for him.

Certainly not knocking either bull, Ohlrichs' are very good at what they do and Chain Reaction actually has the better pedigree behind him, if you have pretty fronted cows I don't think you can go wrong either direction.
