New bulls living up to their hype?

Been gone for a few days, and dang, I missed a lot!!
SJC: What is that article about the measurements etc from the South African guy? I would really enjoy reading that, as I am always trying to find that magic match that everybody else thinks is looney!
But I have seen some Pharo cattle and well, just not that impressed. Nothing against him or his cattle, they are just not MY type of cattle. The people that have them, seem to be headed in a definate direction and seem happy doing it.
I ordered some Salute, now afraid to use him because of reported BW's....ordered some Proud Jazz and now can't decide what cows to breed him to (I have too many want to try him on....)  Have seen some GREAT Trump daughters but am not impressed with Sonny....Oh isn't breeding cattle just like Christmas....only you don't get to unwrap the presents, but you sure don't know what your gonna get!!! ;D

I have had a manchild this year out of a heatwave chillfactor cow and am pleased. But they say the best new bull from last year is money shot they have seen lots of damn nice calves on the ground.

you know, I picked on my nephews because they ordered some Money Shot. I've heard really good things about him so far! May have to take it back?!! : Only problem I had w/ them on him is that he's a THC.

  We have 4 Man Child calves this spring, and are having a hard time getting a good read on what they may turn into. They do have potential, but right now he is on what we call, the side line. I have been taking a second look @ the Money Shot bull as well, but will most likely wait until we hear more. Trying to give up the carrier bulls. Cab

Yeah the same thing with our manchild calve can't get a good read on him he looks a little tall and gangly but since I got him on creep he is starting to stoutin up. Yeah jus got my semen am planning on breeding money shot to my better cows I know he is a carrier but that don't bother me too much. They actually say the better calves are out of the THC anyways.

BigGH...you may have opened up a can of worms.  To each his own, but most people (and nearly all, on here) think there are plenty of GOOD THF bulls out there to breed to.  I have used carriers and non-carriers...i havent noticed much difference...but I hope they work out for you!
