Here's some pictures of our two new babies. The black calf is 5 days old and is the smallest calf!! I don't think she weighs 55lbs if that. She is out of a Power Plus son and a Draft Pick daughter. The fawn colored calf is a week old and much bigger than the black calf. She is out of a Char. bull and a Heatseeker cow.

SKF, those knees in the black calf make me nervous. If she start having trouble walking or has a fever it might be navel infection. I'm just going by the pictures. Just have had some experience w/ it.

They look like really nice calves!

Its just the picture. She was hard to photograph because she does not stay still for long, she is VERY active. She has some good bone just a really small calf. I wish she was a little big because I worry about the coyotes.

good! I didn't mean to cause alarm but sometimes the swollen knee is the only sign at first. Wouldn't you love to be able to photoshop things like that!  ;)

Here's some updated pictures of the heifer calves I posted back in May. They both need to be clipped. I will be weaning them later this month just wanted to see what people thought on how they look. I will post more pics after they are weaned and clipped. We are thinking of keeping both. They have just been on their mothers and grass. I am going to moving the creep feeder out today.
