Kinda thought this calf might be a STUD ....

SHOULD I cut him ....

Personally wouldn't cut him today, but would give him a little growing time to see what you think of him as he gets a little age on him, when he gets a little bigger, past banding size, you will have a better idea on what you think.  Good luck!

Nice calf, how is he bred.

This is another calf born in APRIL an he is a steer ,both are out of our SILVER GHOST  bull we raised .He is a FRICTION son an out of our 2801 donor cow ,she is reg. charolais an just produced a HEAT WAVE calf last fall that brought 14,500 at THOMPSONS in S.D. last JAN. AN WILL be  showed in TEXAS

I wish I could get my hands on some Friction semen.. Never seen much by him, but what I have seen.. are the real deal...  I've heard he's the go to guy, from many people...

How old was that baby calf? Approaching a month old, cuz he looks quite big for a calf that is new and born in July..?

The heifer was named  'WHAT ABOUT ME ' an was a donor at JONES  SHOW CATTLE  back east ..............

Not sure Freddy about that front shoulder set up. As always hard to tell from a picture. Certainly got the back end which often means strong in the front shoulder. That black Heifer is magnificent I really like her.

You know AUSSIE you might be right ,since using more of these clubby bulls on those reg. Angus cows I do think my ANGUS cows are pretty good.  Had been using
them in the political  EPD ANGUS  programs an still do some of them ...It wasn't working ,commercial ANGUS  guys around here are just using black cows an breeding
them to the political correct angus BULLS ,not paying the ANGUS ASSOC.  a dime ....There is also a lot of Angus people objecting about the genetic defects an trying to figure a way to not use them....

freddy i really like that bull should work on a good alias cow or your angus cows for clean up to and i would keep tht first calf a bull if hes got the muscle his sires got

I definately like the bull calf, did you cut him?  Looks like he has some massive bone and top yet still enough body too him.  I don't have any doubts but it would be nice to see what kind of base width he has in him.  Nice looking sire as well.
