Anyone have experience using Nichols Manifest? What types of females is he working on and will he cross well with Angus cows? I've been seeing his ad a lot lately and really like his look! Any input or pics would be great.

One Sunday afternoon we took off & drove up to see him. He is a very complete bull. Balanced front to back. Big footed, deep ribbed. His weaknesses IMO maybe that he does have some sheath skin and a little leather up front, but I think that he could put a great set of females in a herd.

I really appreciate the info, very helpful...I am still back and forth on using him.  I really thought there would be some more feedback on him.

Well I've been kind of watching this thread myself.  I purchased 10 straws last year and used him on 3 cows.  Only one stuck.  It happened to be a high quality Angus female.  She's very moderate, deep, lots of good rib shape, and very sound.  She had a little Manifest heifer calf and so far I'm not terribly impressed.  The calf is sound structured and very long female.  I'd like for her to be a little deeper bodied and softer made.  She's very high performing so far though - comparable to a few calves that are older by 2-3 weeks.  For me, the jury is still out on when and if I'm going to use the other 7 straws.  I've got some other sire groups that I'm more impressed with.  That said, it's tough to make a decision off of one calf.  :)  I've not seen that many around either.  That could by why you don't have more posting in this thread.  I did see a flyer that Accelerated Genetics e-blasted that said Nichols are using him really heavily this year because of so much demand for the bulls.  So someone definitely likes the performance of the cattle anyhow.  That's all I have.  Sorry it's not more.
