We have a monopoly heifer that is very versatile. depending on how close we clip her she can co commercial or market heifer. Great Haired, Cleaner fronted, and just loads of meat. Were planning to IVF heifer this spring, and were wondering which bull people preferred. Northern Improvement, Lut, or Lutton to Make females. Were wanting to just give her heifers a shot of femininity and size, while keeping her hair and mass. Any input would be available. No pic available

Lut or Lutton would both work well I think. NI will keep the hair and look but may reduce mass and body more than the other two.

Why choose?  Go to Trausch Farms website and look at their new Angus bull Slider.  He is a Northern Improvement on a New Edition x Lutton.  I am confident he will do what you are looking for.

I have also seen the bull in person.  The pedigree of the bull is right in line with the question you were asking.  Thought he might interest you.  ;)

Just curious what did you like/didn't like about Slider? Saw him on Trausch's blog and he sparked some interest with me especially because I try to breed away from Lut/Northern Improvement to hopefully come back and use them.
