A Bridge Too Far is outstanding.

The Band of Brothers series is also.

There are some great German-made movies also (not sympathetic to them):
  Das Boot (about a Uboat)
  Cross of Iron
  Stalingrad

I'm gonna have to go with Justin on this one.  Band of Brothers is by far the best WWII film ever put out.  The action and dialogue is incredible as well as being, from what I've heard from WWII vets, the most realistic of all films.

A cousin of mine that was a WWII Vet in a tank Batallion told me that what he felt was the best represantation of WWII he had seen was Saving Private Ryan.

I liked Fly Boys as well but wasn't that a WWI movie?
