So my plan is to sell this calf as a county prospect steer. What do y'all think of him and what should I be asking for him?

I like that calf, and I wouldn't have guessed he had that much ear in him at all! I would think he would do ok if he doesn't start to show more ear or if he ends up somewhere where classes get divided by breed types or where judges won't discount him too bad if he does start to show some of that breeding. It'd be a risk in this part of the world, but I still like him at this stage.

Thanks this calf took a lot of planning for and I'm definitely proud of the results. I just wish he showed a touch more ear, not enough to where he gets shafted but enough where I'm confident he would go American.

Looks great from behind. Appears to have a strong bone structure. Will be interesting to see how he fills out
