It finally warmed up enough to snap some pictures of the bulls.  One kid is sleeping in the idling side by side about 10 feet in front of the bulls and another is watching movies in the barn while my wife and I frantically try to clean up bulls and take pictures.  Life with little kids is all kinds of fun!

More bulls.  23E is a favorite and 25E is being retained for use in my herd.  Both are march born bulls.

Thanks Kibler!  4 is sired by my Resource son, MacGyver.  9 is off my Bullseye son I bought.  He was a favorite all summer. We showed him this fall and he won his class.  25 was an in-dam purchase last fall that makes me look smarter than I really am  (lol)! His sire is a Connealy Capitalist son from Spicklers.

Hi Knabe.  12E is a son of MacGyver as well.  His dam is the Bismarck cow I have posted on here before.  He has her exceptional rib shape and his sire's muscle shape.  He's pretty cool.  Low birth (80lbs) and he was the heaviest when I last weighed them (1200lbs mid December). Born early February.

In general the bulls are in nice condition I feel.  They get 1% body weight of a 14% protein bull developer pellet and free choice hay so they are certainly not fleshy.  12E is the easiest fleshing of the group I'd say.

He’s my favorite from the pics too— a cowmaker

I like 4 as well.

12E certainly should be a cowmaker. Bismarck, Kodiak, Resource, Net Worth, EXT all lined up in his pedigree.  4E is nice in that he is a calving ease option with Resource in the background. Which get back to my argument that resource, despite his BW and CE epds, can be a very useful bull.

I totally understand life with a toddler oh yikes so hectic and messy at times. I thought life was crazy & busy before lol it's  a whole new ball game with kids. Nice group of bulls! We use capitalist on our clubby heifers we kept 2 of his heifers this year. One is out of a Dakota Gold daughter and she is a stunning heifer that will make a great cow. Are these bulls for sale? We are in the market for a clean up bull that we can use on our clubby cows.

Kids, cows, and off farm jobs (and we recently added a herd of boer goats to the situation) makes for a crazy life.
Yes I've seen good things thus far from Capitalist so that's why I thought I'd keep this guy and give him a shot.  His dam is a nice cow too.
These bulls are for sale privately yes.  I've sent you a PM.
