I have a couple of straws of a 20 year old Chiangus bull named Rush 46  A. Does anyone have any information on this bull he has 485 progeny registered with the Chi Assoc. so I`m sure someone on here has used him.I would like to see a picture of him if anyone could download it and if not I would like to know what type of cow he should be used on. Thanks

Here you go , hope this helps ! Birth date 7/21/91 , Birth weight 90 lbs , Adjusted WW 615 lbs , Hip height 54 in. November of 93. He was with Genetic Horizons at the time , says in his ad he will temper down the larger cows yet still posses a ton of style. First Rush calves were born in September of 93 , consistent is the term that descibes them best. Rush was used on a wide variety of cows- Angus , Chi angus , Maine Angus and Amerifax with great results.

My first clubby cow I purchased was a Rush heifer.  She was moderate, big butted and good structured.  I only have one to go by, but I would also add that milk was just adequate, and disposition was not the best.  Calves were mostly sold or keepers, on the right cow he would probably work.

Unless you have some 900-1000 lb mature cows, that are no taller than 4 foot i would throw that semen away.We as an industry do not need to go back to that style of cattle made popular in the 70's-early 90's,but hey thats just my opinion.
