Anybody watch the USA v. Canada Olympic hockey game?  Great game - both sides were really going at it.

Great game - nobody gave the USA a chance - Ryan Miller (BFLO Sabres and Olympic goalie) was fantastic -

I hope our hockey teams do not choke when it comes down to the "CRUNCH".I was not able to watch their last two games but thought for sure after the first they were going to make a statement. My daughter has been so disapointed with the speed skateing and skiing. I am putting my money on the Canadian men for the gold in curling though!!

Tell you what, on behalf of the rest of the US we will give you curling if we get the gold in Hockey.  I think it is a fair trade.  (lol)

Speaking of fair trades, how about trading us Hawaii and Alaska for Quebec? That is almost a 3:1 trade in your favor in regards to total square miles of land. Have we got a deal? Don't hesitate too long as we won't leave a great deal like this on the table very long!( if you talk real nice, we might toss in a few oil wells)

I was going to start to get the paperwork done on this deal when I remembered that Oprah is in Chicago and Obama is in Washington. I think you better through in a few oil wells to make this even worth considering.

Betty Crocker hasn't made as many turnovers as the Canadian team made tonight.

4 front line "canadians" play for the sharks.  i hope that wasn't a precursor for the playoffs yet again.  seems the sharks always glom onto guys who make turnovers and don't like the hittin.

Apparently the Canadians don't blame the turnovers, but their Goaly.... the benched him.

Isn't that like blaming the headchute guy for the one that gets away? I mean, no one else stepped up for the job!!

My wife and I have been watching the Olympics and I have a question that maybe someone could answer on here. Is it me or have they lost their meaning when you get Americans skiing for Canada, Canadians figure skating for America, Czechs playing hockey for Canada, Japanese figure skating for Russia, Canadians playing hockey for Finland. and on and on....? Seems odd to me. Any help?

Those athletes either have dual citizenship or have giving up their birth country and become citizens of a new country. Sometimes it is easier to make a smaller countries team then the bigger countries.
Show Heifer they did not BENCH him it was always talked about rotating them. I watch Canadian TV and hear more about the goings on about the team. If they were that worried they would have pulled him during the game.
