cwcattlesales.com  i think that they have the most popular and biggest crowd watching the sales.  I personally like Caldwell-Willoughby's format better than breedersworld.

I have to agree with titan. I have bought through both Breeders World and cwcattle sales. The things I liked about cw was I could pay on line with a check right after the sale whereas with Breeders World I had to mail a check. Also whether I spent a few hundred dollars or several thousand they called the next morning thanking me for my purchase as well as informing me my payment had been made. As a buyer I felt appreciated. (thumbsup)

If you are selling competitive steers, Caldwell is your guy.

He will work the phones, and he will buy calves from you.

Now as far as the sale format, I much prefer Breeders World.  The sale lasts for 6 hours, and it is over.  None of this 2 1/2 day garbage.  Start the sale, bid em up, and end the sale.

I believe that many of the new sale sites are starting to gain some traction, including ShowStock Planet, Steer Planet, Steer Bidder, SaleDay USA, etc..  If I were going to have a sale in which I did not feel that I needed Caldwell for his ability to pedal my calves, I would use whatever is the cheapest.
