Open to the World entries due July 4 $10,000 Grand Prize!

What kind of rules are there for this show?

They way I understand it is that the rules are really going to be limited at this show.  The people putting this show on really want to have a show where you can come relax, enjoy yourself and have a chance for a really nice pay day.  They hosted a show last year called the Florida fat steer show that really went well.  All premiums were paid and people really seemed to enjoy themselves.  The only rule that they had in that show was that the exhibitor had to be from Florida, under the age of 21 and keep the calf in Florida.  They still plan to have this show the same weekend as the open to the world show.  Anyone from anywhere can exhibit a steer in the open to the world show.  The show will be judged as a terminal show but there will be no sale.  I also heard that the University of Florida is trying to put together a livestock judging to be held at the same time.  If I can help at all please let me know.

I'm sure they would allow you to show, just be there with your steer on July 4th. You would have to be in it for the banner, because I'm sure the trip would cost more than the prize, just like jackpotting.

How many entries do you have so far?

That's right...there are no rules, except pay your entry fee by July 4!  You dont even need to indicate which calf you're entering.  It will be a fun, laid back show with some great prize money and awards.  So please feel free to email [email protected] or call 863-528-2976 any time for more information.  Date of the show:  January 6-8, 2012.
