Opinion on if steer will classify Angus in Texas Majors

Need to see what opinons are if this steer would make Angus in SA or Houston for next year.

Too good of a top, too much muscle, too good on his feet and legs to be an Angus.  I agree that his head looks non-typical, too.

Seriously, if he's purebred, he should show as an Angus.  If he's a crossbred, he should show accordingly.  Somebody should know, although if the standards are as "rigid" as CAB, what difference does it make?  He's black.

Don't know about Texas classifications, but his poll looks like a simmental cross to me.

I'm not saying he won't but I know Angus was the smallest breed at Houston this year only 36 in the entire breed, which makes me think they classed a lot of steers out.

He wasn't dehorned was looking to buy him and breeder said he might go Angus. 
What think about him as an exotic?

Head is too long and poll is too prominent.  They have to be pretty round across top.

This is our "British" steer. His dam is registered angus. Looks pretty similar but we didn't try to take him to any majors. I feel more than sure he would class out as angus in the majors but we were never questioned at jackpot/prospect shows. Just my opinion but we wouldn't try it.
