I know this is not a very good picture but please give me your opinion of this market heifer. Good or bad are appreciated.

Have high hopes for her at our state fair. If you could see her back end you would know why. Just a little worried she is not tall enough and her neck is a little short. We have been trying to sweat off but it is what it is.

I really like her in this picture! You should get a rear shot for us, her hip looks really muscular! How's she walk? Also what is her breeding?

From this angle it looks like your heifer has a pretty sweet ghetto booty! Love to see a rear picture, she looks great from the side!

Its hard to tell from a pic, but I would say she looks plenty tall enough for me.  She looks like she has plenty of product and shape in her.  Yeah so her neck isnt good enough, but remember she is a market heifer.  Unless you get one of those judges that is gonna harp on what her contemporaries in the pasture look like then I think the rest of her will make up for the neck.

On a side note, not to start controversy, but for everyone that knocks steers because of what their contemporary heifers might look like.  This heifer is what I hope they look like if they were produced by a terminal cross, because if they were produced by a terminal cross in the commercial side of the industry then they should end up at the feedlot just like their steermates.  So I say this heifer is the picture of what a market heifer should be.

For everyone's questions answered she still moves pretty good. She could be a hair longer strided but she does not pop or anything. She is a Monopoly x Friction. We did have her bred but unfortunately at about 45 days she threw out the calf. She was bred to Mercedes Benz. We are going for the gusto at MN State Fair and think we have a decent shot to be at least reserve at MN State Fair and then she would go to market. Don't know exactly what we will do if she doesn't make it. I think we got too wrapped up in this and probably should have tried to breed again. Will let everyone know after fair. Attached is a pic of her back end.
