This is my brother's PB Angus steer for county fair, just one that we picked out of our commercial herd. What do you think of him? I think he will be compete fine in the Angus class and I bet he sells good! Guessing he weighs 1400+, fairs in 3 weeks.

Redirtroad: Haha he is pretty muscular for a Angus fat steer, dad will get a laugh out of that comment! Maybe his muscle is what set him apart from most of the other calves when picked him out!

WAR: We are in Custer County. As far as state fair, we may be but not with this steer.

That dude is a hog. When was he steered? I agree with the hell of a feeder quote. What is his breeding?
He was steered with the rest of our commercial calves when they went to grass, so at about 2-3 months of age. As far as his breeding goes I could not give you an honest answer. We have ran a PB Angus commercial herd for 40+ years so all the females are daughters of the big name bulls and all of our bulls are sons of the big names. I believe his sire is an In Focus son, but don't hold me to that.
