Would like to get some opinions on a couple of our 2015 calves.

First pictures are of a A&T Renegade bull calf our of a blue roan shorthorn plus first calf heifer. BW 78 lbs. 4/14/15

Next calf is a 50% Simmental bull calf out of Uno Mas on a Mo better foundation female. 4/24/15 ( Last pic is simm calf as well)

Third calf is a 60 lb PB Shorthorn heifer out of A&T renegade. 5/5/15

The two bull calves will be steered out and for sale this fall.

I don't think your pictures are a fair representation of the calves. The haltered pictures the calves look uncomfortable positioned or appear to be.
If you want to capture photos create a small area or sit on a bucket or your 4 wheeler while in pasture. Candid photos are really hard to get. The angles are everything. Too high or too low. It is definitely an art. you can spend a day just trying to get one or two that work.

I think the core of the calves look good unfortunately the pictures do not do them justice. First impressions are everything in this business.

I agree the pictures aren't doing them justice....I do see calves with nice pattern and length in that spine...best of luck with them all!
