If they are anything like the ultimate x block blades then just make sure your sure handed and have clipped a bunch, super sharp great for going through glued up legs. Only time i use mine are when i am fitting that's it. rest of the time they are hidden away and out of reach, cost to much to just use em everyday.I know the ultimates are a little cheaper than the blue ribbons so may take a look at them.

Blue ribbons are NOT forgiving. I like em when I’m really trying to get specific with a real good haired one. But they don’t cut through glue the way the black xblock blades do.

yah. i used to use just the regular old super blocking blades but if you dropped them or something they break easily and they rust. so i started using x-blocks and i love them. if i accidentally drop them they dont break most of the time and they dont rust. but they do get a little clogged with glue and get a little dull fast. I was just wondering if the blue ribbon 2s are any better? i have heard from other people that the blue ribbon 2s dont cut through glue well at all, and they are only good for clipping hair? the people i have talked to said the x-blocks are overall better.

Black x block for glue for sure.  never had an issue with my super blocking breaking. All blades will rust if you dont take care though
