I am new here and was wondering what other people thought of my new heifer.

I bought her in September and the pictures were also taken in September. She was born November 20, 2007.

I accidentally posted before I was ready.

There are better pictures on the other computer, but here is one (I hope).

Nice heifer! Good work.

Side note: You should be able to hit "modify" up in the top right of the post and change anything, add attachments, etc.

Just a guess, but are the people you bought her from into the "twinning" thing?  A guy I worked for a couple of years back was big into twinners and the white stripe on the tail and up the back half of the spine was a dead giveaway at his place.

I see, that would make sense, considering most of the farms focused on twinning have a bit of Pinz influence in them.

CGU4, your heifer looks great and looks like she will be a great cow. I like her angularity and femininity. Brent

I don't see much of the Pinz around, but she does look like she'll make a great cow.  I think complete would be the best way to describe her.

i think not too bad for a pinzgauer...where are you located?

aren't they like one of the oldest breeds, next to Chianinas?

We are in NW Oregon.

I am not sure about them being one of the oldest breeds. They were first being developed in 500 A.D and later in history got there present form and color. Pinzgauers first appeared in documents in the 1600's.
