My son hasnt even begun to work his steer. we cut him out of the her on the 16th but the rains started and in 1 week we got 6 inches so no using the cow pens, the steer is back out on pasture with the keeping heifers. really hoping issac doesnt dump too much rain on us so the cow pens will dry out and we can get the steer halter broke. initial tag in/weigh in is sept 29th, doesnt give us much time (fair not until march)

Not wishing ill on anyone but we are praying that Isaac heads west and then north to Missouri.  Sorry about you having too much water but we have had too little water for two years. So we are praying that he comes our way.

We were just talking about the same thing over here. I am glad it is not a large one, but hope it holds some rain for us. On the last report, we might get a half inch in SW MO. Here is a link to the tracking of it, http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/graphics_at4+shtml/085616.shtml?5-daynl and you can click to see how much water is expected!

Daimond G I went through High Springs a few weeks ago and it was still wet from our last big system.  We aren't as wet as you but we can't handle the +- 10 inches that they're forecasting for us either
