OK, so I am horrible about judging newborn calves, and would like your early opinion on this calf. She is one month old, and is half simmi. Her mom is a half blood Macho (1/4 Maine 1/4 Angus - came from Exposure Sale in 08) with a TINY udder, but her calf seems to be doing just fine, big for a first calf heifer. Her pic is the middle one, Melody. See her udder?  Thanks for looking...
Oh, I have included a pic of our next cow due (bottom pic, Flirt); she is carrying an embryo for us. She is three years old, this will be her second calf. Her first calf was the bull calf I put on here this summer that won reserve champion Simmental bull at Ozark Empire District Fair, and won champion Simmental in the 4-h division at Missouri State Fair (he won his class in open, but was beat out in division by older bulls). She is a Hummer granddaughter, and has no dream on in her bloodline. The embryo she is carrying is a Built Right x avalanche cow. Vet called it a bull calf, we are hoping the vet was wrong  ;) Wanted a heifer out of this embryo...
