Here's the steer my daughter is planning on keeping for our county fair next year. He is out of a Power Plus son and a Who Made Who cow. He is a June calf and weighs 540lbs. What do you think???

He looks a little high in his tail head and he could maybe use a little more bone. Looks to have some good rib shape and also looks pretty growthy. Like the chrome on his front wheels and it could be the way he is set up but it appears that his right rear leg tends to point out a little. Again nice job on breeding him. He looks like he should be pretty competitive on down the road for your fair.

He looks nice.  A little different clipping technique on his tail head would make him look better.  You should be proud of him.

Watch that right rear leg it points out. He looks young enough that you can fix it. (Or maybe its just the way it is standing). Looks Good.

How do you fix that?  I know keeping their hooves trimmed helps but what else can you do?
