Got this in an email today thought I would share it with the wonderful people of SP.
And this is the President and Vice-President of United States of America.  Unbelieveable!!!!!!!!!!

CATTLE  GUARDS
For those of you who have never traveled to the West or Southwest,cattle guards are horizontal steel rails placed at fence openings, in dug-outplaces in the roads adjacent to highways (sometimes across highways), to prevent cattle from crossing. For some reason the cattle will not step on the guards, probably because they fear getting their feet caught between the rails.A few months ago, President Obama received a report that there were over 100,000 cattle guards in Colorado. Because Colorado ranchers had protested his proposed changes in grazing policies, he ordered the Secretary of the Interior to fire half of the guards immediately. Before the Interior Secretary could respond and presumably straighten him out, Vice-President, Joe Biden intervened with a request that before any guards were fired, they be given six months of retraining. And we PAY these people???  :

You know what's crazy?  According to an e-mail I got in the 90s, Clinton did the exact same thing.

I would say it is about time someone with an agriculture background gets into office. JMO

I was kidding.  That e-mail is just as bogus as all the e-mails that went around slamming George Bush.

An increase of 4.6% in federal taxes from 35% to 39.6% (expiration of Bush tax cuts)

* An increase in capital gains taxes from 15% to 20% (expiration of Bush tax cuts)

* A new tax of 3.85% on investment income, dividends, rents, royalties mandated in the new health care bill

* An increase in the Medicare payroll tax to 2.35% as mandated in the new health care bill

* In states like New Jersey and others, state and municipal taxes have been raised by the average of almost 2%

in california, it's even worse. 

who would hire anyone under these conditions?  if they don't hire anyone, perhaps the government will hire yet more people to write yet more regulations and hire yet more compliance personnel.  what a complete joke.  the only sector hiring is the government.

it's probably racist to reduce regulation, fees, government head count, let someone besides union get government contracts.  so glad the unions are a protected class so that everyone else can pay for their lower productivity as mandated by union contracts which outlaw competition.

or pro union farmer...or a government  land thief revenuer sympathiser

A steward of the land farmer, not an equpment operator.  We have way too many equipment operators around here.  We have crop fields surrounding our pastures and they are too lazy to lift their equpment and have planted through the grass waterways.  Now our pastures are getting big washes in them and sinkholes are forming.  I'm about to wage war.
