I found this while looking for cave paintings of Aurochs. I thought it was interesting.
Forgive the"magic and shamanism" part, its pretty empirical.

It makes sense that alot of people followed the stars.......when they didn't have the bright lights of Denver blinding them.

I read one source that said marajuana was brought to the new world by the Spainish in 1545?

knabe is right. The whole assemblage is wheeling in a very trippy way, a spinning trance dance of racing megafauna in cosmic motion across the firelit skyceiling of the cave. The book, My Life in the Bush of Ghosts climbs that tree.
