She seems to be doing a good job!  Both she and her calf look happy and full.

Thanks Mark! I don't have too much to complain about on this one. I look forward to future progeny out of this gal. She's bred to a real stout hereford bull for the spring 2016. I do plan on AIing her after next years calf. Any bulls that come to mind when looking at her?

Heres who I like- 1: Hidden Treasure-Shorthorn and I dont allways push Shorts, you can see a couple calves in the "painted bulls thread below this one a couple down-When Shorthorn x Char influence works-(which isnt all the time) it works like gangbusters -this bull has the right type of breeding-and alot of Kris Blacks cattle stem from ones bred kinda like him-knee jerk reaction makes him FIRST CHOICE2: Char influence- No-Spin Zone (full sib to Troubador needs no verbage, or Rapid Rewards, Maine Influence- COMFORT ZONE or Excel 80. Without going into a mile long discussion of lienage- ANY FEMALE that is thick -or clubby oriented BUT MATERNAL LIKE HER-SEEMS TO WORK BETTER WITH THICK ALBEIT -USED As CLUBBY MATERNAL BULLS. All the ones I mentioned (of course the list could go on and on) ARE ALSO COWMAKERS. I bet she'll have a better calf that way than strictly terminal. O0

Thanks again mark. I like the idea of going the shorthorn direction. She has zero clubby genetics in her.
