We take our own photos of our calves we sale. Is there a computer program out there to edit photos. Like removing halter and minor pic editing.  Not looking to put a lot of money out but want decent program. What are some good ones that y'all have tried or recommend.  Thanks.

We use Photo Shop Elements. It does everything you need to do and more. Usually you can find it for around $80.00.

Adobe products are the standard for professional editors.  I would recommend going with photoshop elements, because it builds a good base and familiarity with adobe products.

We us Adobe Photoshop but here is an OpenSource FREE program, that I have seen used and was impressed with what it could do.

look at http://paint-net.soft32.com/

It doesn't cost anything to try it or check it out, just some of your time.

A really good, and completely free (bonus!) program that is pretty comparable to photoshop would be GIMP. It's a little tricky to get onto, but once you do you're away to the races. www.gimp.org There should be plenty of good 'tutorials' on how to do things if you simply google your question. Good luck!  (clapping)
