Black steer (heatseeker son x limy/maine) Yellow heifer (big jimmy x char/red angus) , both are november born , lost all of their hair this summer .

Thanks , Freddy and Rasor .. the heifer is out of a really nice Charolais/Red Angus cow , should make a great cow after her show career .

Both very nice calves. I'm with Freddy I really like the white hfr just that bit more style IMO.

Could you give some reasons about what is wrong with a slick sheared calf. Really like that heifer quite a bit!

Calves look great!

And for those of u that can't read past the hair , if those cattle were haired up rt now for the part of the world they r in they would probably be dead cattle. Don't worry this winter they will hair up again just like they r suppose too.

Just a thought but Hair may sell cattle... but you sure as heck aren't going to eat it and it sure as heck doesn't make a steer or heifer any sounder or more productive (in a heifers case)... something to consider...

None the less they both seem to be 2 very nice animals, give the cream heifer a tick more style and she would be super super good
