Here's Bubbles! I got a friend (who doesn't know cattle, so he's not done a bad job!) to take some pics while we were in the interbreed yesterday, we finished up second in the junior interbreed pair to Simmentals.

For everyone else, this is a heifer which was supreme Shorthorn exhibit at the Adelaide Royal show, which is by Canadian bull Northern Legend. Five Legend heifers were in the first two heifer classes, in the first class they were first, second and fourth, and in the next class first and second. We then had junior and reserve heifer, before little Bubbles here went on to beat the senior cow and bulls for supreme exhibit. Not a bad effort for a little girl!

She's beautiful :) But spoilt rotten! The calves have been every colour... the reserve heifer was white, plus there's been lots of silver roans, solid reds etc... I haven't seen any real 'splashy' ones yet.

Look good TDU. Great result and you look well for an interbreed day.  (lol)
Good to see the ring not under water this year.

Thanks for posting the pics! Legend is probably the best all round bull we have ever used and it's great to see his offspring doing well for Andy. Winning in the ring down there as well as he has the shortest gestation and is a trait leader for weaning weight!
If you ever make it to Agribition you will definitely have to check out the Swamp! <beer>

ONE day, I'll make it to Agribition! Think I may have to leave my job to be able to get there though!!!

I still believe I'm yet to see a bull breed as consistently as Legend, the calves are phenomenal. I'm going to try and get to Naracoorte so I have a heap of pics to show you of Legend and 4W calves at the end of the year :) Was checking out flights yesterday, wow they're not cheap.

I am so happy that Bubbles has done so well! Legend is easily my favorite bull of all time due to his consistency which seems to have carried on down under as well  (clapping) <party> <rock> <beer>

They're moulded just as if they're all from the same cookie cutter aren't they! Love them  ;D

I concur Jaimie, I can't overstate how impressed I am by his consistency. And that he works so well in different herds.  <party> (clapping)

Please please post more pictures!
I had no idea you loved our pictures so much AJ! I'm sure every morning when you visit steer planet it's the highlight of your day.
Just for you here is a red pair.
Two year old pair pictured when the calf is one month old. 8W is a great grand daughter of Legend. The calf is by Matock Red Sniper. Several white animals in both 8W and 8Y's background, the two in 8W are highlighted green!Of course of even more interest to you would be the the fact that Jaimidiamond is the breeder of 3 generations here.
Please post some of your pics AJ, would love to see them.
