My daughter got her new heifer about a month ago, she is a March heifer.  This is a horrible picture.  We took her to her first show last Saturday and after she showed and tied the heifer and the heifer laid  down, I realized I didn't get any pictures.  So her hair is not looking so good and the wind was blowing 500 mph so that didn't help.  She also looks kind of droopy because we gave her quite a bit of calf calm due to this being her first show and her acting pretty jumpy at the house.  She actually acted pretty good at the show before we gave her the calf calm.  Let me know what you guys think.  Lisa

I love seeing cattle on flat ground.  i actually kind of like her.

seems to set up square naturally, hopefully she'll level out as she gets older.

seems like the fitter stands automatically with her feet perfect as well.

;) Thanks Knabe, that means ALOT coming from you!  I am hoping that she is going to level out also.

My daughter is starting to really have alot of fun with her now.  She didn't take to her at first because she has been somewhat of a stubborn heifer, but I think she has finally started to turn the corner and is starting to be more trusting of people.   Lisa

Very nice looking heifer , look's like she is very correct an has a lot of grow to her.  Should  grow into the topline, has pretty good size bone ,but very smooth made .  What is her age an breeding, an good luck to your daughter this summer showing.

She was born on March 12,2008.  She is out of a bull named LDH Cigar, and the cow she is out of is BC MS Wind, which is a Wyoming Wind daughter.  She will be showing her at the Texas Majors, starting in January with Fort Worth.  Thanks for the nice comments!

Your heifer has quite a pedigree, the cigar's are hard to find, an that's where she gets the extra bone an muscle.  The Wyoming Wind is proably the most complete Charolais bull that has been raised in the Charolais breed. I happen to have about three Wyo Wind cow's ready to flush, an more in my herd an more in cow's to calve this spring an fall. She ought to be a great one.

Nice heifer!  We really like the Wyoming Wind genetics.  Great dispositions and gives the the "look."  The Cigar sure adds Mass and volume.  Wish we had some more of his daughters.  She sure looks like she will be massive for as green as she is now.
