The pictures below are of my PB Angus Bull Calf that we have named J.A.G.  JAG is Sired by DCC New Look out of our OCC Judge sired  Donor that we purchased from Cane Ridge this last fall.

Several posters on this board responded to a thread on ShowSteers to  help name him so I thought I would share some pictures.

Please let me know your thoughts.  The First 3 pictures are of JAG & the last is of is Dam,  CRCC Patricia 2406.

Thanks, :-*

Really like this guy. Looks like he has all the right stuff to make it. Please keep us up on his progression. Great looking cow. What are you going to breed her back to if you don't mind?

Thanks,
I am setting her up to flush as we speak.  I am flushing her to 3C Macho.  Then I am thinking about either DCC New Edition(Full brother to the sire of the calf) or Carneyman.

The Maine breed is kind of my thing so once I breed her back I may go with a Maine sired bull.

Thanks,

RSC

Tony, fantastic looking pair. Jag is really coming along. I love the cow! just my type, really broody & deep. Would be interested when you finalize everything on her.
Great pictures & best of luck!

Thanks for the comments.  Red, I will be flushing her to Macho in the next few weeks.  I always entertain sharing flushes on my Donors with like-minded cattlemen & women, if we can agree on a mating.

For more information on the donor and JAG, you can check out my Website on this site, Romshek Show Cattle.

Her is a link to the page I just made for JAG.  His Dam is listed on the Donor Page.

RCS, I really like your choices as to what youare flushing her to next. 3C Machco is my pick of the Simi's right now and have been loking @ the New Edition bull alot lately. Cab

With her depth of body and thickness, from what i saw in the collins sale, Carney man gained some notoriety with that combination. ON average the Carney heifers priced higher than the 734's. I also was told that is what you need to use Carney on is deeper bodied thicker made cows. Good choice though on the others. Full Flush would also be a good one.
